In the evening, the Observatoire Astronomique is exclusively dedicated to research. Fortunately, there is an exception to this rule! Two nights a year, during the Festival d'astronomie Populaire du Mont-Mégantic, the observatory's large telescope is opened to the general public, and its electronic instruments are replaced by an ocular permitting visual observation.
